Associate Pastor Reflections

Dear family,
The Jubilee Year 2025, with its theme “Pilgrims of Hope in Communion,” is a special invitation to restore our relationship with God and renew our commitment to living as faithful disciples of Christ. This sacred year is a call to deepen our faith through the Sacraments, especially Reconciliation and the Eucharist, also with acts of charity, and eventual pilgrimages to the holy sites that bring us closer to God and His people.
Once we have received God’s mercy, Pope Francis also invite us to extend that mercy to others, becoming beacons of hope in a world longing for healing. We are called to serve those in greatest need—offering compassion to prisoners, encouragement to the youth, care to the elderly, welcome to migrants, comfort to the sick, and dignity to the poor. In doing so, we live out Christ’s mission to restore all things in Him.
During this holy time, we also turn our hearts to Our Lady of “San Juan de los Lagos,” whose powerful intercession has brought countless miracles and blessings to her children. We are blessed to honor her on Sunday, February 2nd, at 6:00 pm in the Church of St. Denis. Let us gather as one community to celebrate her maternal love and entrust our lives to her protection.
May this Jubilee Year inspire us to walk together in faith and hope, so that we may bring God’s healing love to all we encounter.
Our Lady of San Juan de los Lagos, pray for us!
